Foster Made Branding & Website Content
Provided 250+ pages of on-brand copy for a Virginia health system website. Made complex medical information more readable and accessible to the community.

Foster Made is a tight-knit team of digital solutions specialists located in Richmond, VA. They design and develop websites, mobile apps, and other custom products for forward-thinking brands across the globe and across industries.
The Mutti and Foster Made teams got to know each other better while working on a proposal for a potential new client. Unfortunately, that project didn’t materialize. But the experience had a silver lining–Foster Made decided to hire Mutti to tackle copy for their own site relaunch.
Objectives
Clearly communicate key differentiators–what is unique and special about Foster Made
Appeal to forward-thinking brands willing to make significant investments in their tech stack, but without alienating a broader audience
Communicate their company culture, which is hard-working and highly skilled, but also fun-loving
Overview
Process
The first step in Mutti’s process, is research and discovery. Before engaging on any specific projects, Mutti’s work began by reviewing a number of Foster Made strategy documents–everything from communications guidelines to a brand strategy report–to help us understand their approach to writing. We also looked at their current site, some sample proposals, and reviewed their company values.
The first project assignment was to develop content strategy and messaging for Foster Made’s new website. Of course, before diving into copy, we needed to do additional research and discovery. So, equipped with a list of five Foster Made competitors (including one that was aspirational), we did content audits of each of their sites as well as an in-depth audit of the current Foster Made site……..
